Edgil Associates Receives Multi-Site Contract for
EdgCapture 3.0 from Village Voice Media

North Chelmsford, MA, March 28, 2002 -- Edgil Associates Inc., the leader in providing complete automated payment processing systems for the publishing industry, announced today that Village Voice Media of New York, New York has signed a contract for a multi-site installation of EdgCapture R3.0 for all six of its U.S. media properties.

The corporate rollout calls for upgrades of the current EdgCapture systems at the Village Voice in New York, and the LA Weekly and OC Weekly in Los Angeles. New system installations are scheduled for Seattle Weekly, Cleveland Free Times, City Page in Minneapolis, and the Nashville Scene.

Each site will integrate EdgCapture with Mactive's AdBase advertising system to process credit card, debit card, and electronic check draft transactions.
